Ahmed A. Abd El-Latif
Biography
Ahmed A. Abd El-Latif (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in mathematics and computer science and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Menoufia University, Egypt, in 2005 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China, in 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor of computer science with Menoufia University, Egypt, and the EIAS Data Science Laboratory, College of Computer and Information Sciences, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He is the author or coauthor of more than 240 papers, and his research interests include cryptography, multimedia security, IoT, biometrics, image processing, and quantum information processing.
Dr Imed Romdhani
Biography
Dr Imed Romdhani is an Associate Professor in networking at Edinburgh Napier University since June 2005. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC), France in May 2005. He holds also an engineering and a Master degree in networking obtained respectively in 1998 and 2001 from the National School of Computing (ENSI, Tunisia) and Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg (ULP, France). He worked extensively with Motorola Research Labs in Paris and authored 4 patents.
Dr. Utku Kose
Biography
Dr. Utku Kose received the B.S. degree in 2008 from computer education of Gazi University, Turkey as a faculty valedictorian. He received M.S. degree in 2010 from Afyon Kocatepe University, Turkey in the field of computer and D.S. / Ph. D. degree in 2017 from Selcuk University, Turkey in the field of computer engineering.
Between 2009 and 2011, he has worked as a Research Assistant in Afyon Kocatepe University. Following, he has also worked as a Lecturer and Vocational School – Vice Director in Afyon Kocatepe University between 2011 and 2012, as a Lecturer and Research Center Director in Usak University between 2012 and 2017, Assistant Professor in Suleyman Demirel University between 2017 and 2019, and as an Associate Professor in Suleyman Demirel University between 2019 and 2024. Currently, he is a Full Professor in Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey. Kose also gave lectures at other higher education institutions such as Gazi University and Istanbul Arel University. He also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of North Dakota, USA (between 2023 and 2024) and holds the Honorary Professor of Artificial Intelligence title at ITM (SLS) Baroda University, India.
He has more than 350 publications including articles, authored and edited books, proceedings, and reports. He is also in editorial boards of many scientific journals and serves as one of the editors of the Biomedical and Robotics Healthcare (CRC Press) and Computational Modeling Applications for Existential Risks (Elsevier) book series. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine ethics, artificial intelligence safety, biomedical applications, optimization, the chaos theory, distance education, e-learning, computer education, and computer science.
Prof. Mohammed M. Alani
Biography
Mohammed M. Alani is a university professor and works as a Professor of Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dubai, UAE. He previously worked at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Seneca Polytechnic (Canada), Sheridan College (Canada), Khawarizmi International College (UAE), Middle East College (Oman), Gulf University (Bahrain), and other institutions. He has also worked as a Cisco Academy Instructor and holds multiple certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, and others. His main research interests include networking and data/network security.
Dr. Karim ZKIK
Biography
Dr. Karim Zkik is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and Management of Information Systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Networking, and Computer Sciences from Mohamed V University in Rabat and obtained his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from the University of Angers. Prior to joining Rennes School of Business, he was a Professor at ESAIP Graduate School of Engineering and previously held academic roles at the International University of Rabat and other institutions in Morocco and France.
His research interests revolve around cybersecurity, cyber resilience, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the security of industrial and platform-driven systems. He has experience teaching classes at different levels (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and executive) in information systems, cybersecurity, ethical hacking, data management, AI and machine learning, and network security.
He has published in leading journals including Computer Networks, Decision Support Systems, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, Annals of Operations Research, Production Planning & Control, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, and Computers & Industrial Engineering. He also serves as a reviewer for several top-tier journals such as IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and ACM Transactions on Internet Technology.
He has been involved in several national and international projects such as the ANR-funded European Project CyberSkills4All, Erasmus+ CDC-IoT, and regional initiatives in France supporting cyber resilience and AI integration. As an internationally recognized expert, he has also advised companies and public institutions on cybersecurity training and digital transformation.
